why are you guys all so sweaty pls shower anyway! i think a large part of it is just ppl being attracted to the idea of being helpless and cared for? or conversely, with the psionic thing someone mentioned earlier, taking care of someone who can't do anything without you. i'm probably reading too much into this though, hah ^^; psst, my job outside of bossing you guys around is working with people who literally can't care for themselves. I can't see why anyone is attracted to the concept. These people mess themselves almost hourly, can't move without assistance, and every single one of them I work with at some point or other has told me they want to diepeople that romantacize that are 1. stupid and 2. will conveniently remove the suffering, messing, vomiting, cleaning up feces and blood every few hours, difficulties taking medication (and handling tricky meds), having to full body wash people every 8-12 hours because there's feces plastered to the insides of their legs, etc etc for 'cute feelsies' can confirm that the people that want this kind of rp are kinda freakin creepy

I mean like, not Kurloz, since he has a sort of 'excuse' but like I never see prompts for him, anyway!! what's up with that? And how do you play a mute character? I think it's pretty cool if you can make the story work. I remember one prompt that specifically asked for your character to not be able to understand ASL or anything like that. How ?? Oh!! As someone who has played Mute/Also-Occasionally-Nonverbal Nepeta, I tend to focus on ASL during it. Which can be fun, but also complicated to RP, because I try to make sure to mention each of her hand movements. Which I guess can be confusing? Also she writes stuff down a lot if a character doesn't understand ASL or isn't very good at it. There's also body language, which while not like, a main thing, is really useful. i don't use asl myself since i don't know much about it so i try to avoid it in fear of getting something wrong. i just usually describe his expressions, his gestures, hia body language, and all that. for example, kurloz is in a classic coffeeshop au. if he wants to order something, i can just have him point it out or write it down. it's mostly in just how you want to move the plot/story.
