I mean we can't guess at it, really, but I've been insta-disconnected on a number of times myself and it is super disheartening. I think the important thing to remember is that I feel like Cherubplay is a diverse place populated by a number of types of Homestuck RPer looking for certain things? Like maybe you're just finding people who aren't looking for what you specifically offer?

I'd say keep going for it, and don't sweat any of the details, because the thing is Cherubplay has all types of RPers at differing skill levels so however good you think you are I'm positive you'll find RPers who will feel they have a synergy with your style! And I doubt your writing is 'poor' anyways. I have yet to see an actually bad writer on Cherubplay.
