someone took my prompt, and we had a normal back and forth in OOC for a bit before they posted their response. but immediately after they posted their reply they sent an ooc message with a list of demands that I had to follow if i expected to keep rping with them??
like lmao what?
not that they were even unreasonable or anything, but like...? i feel spiteful and salty about it now i don't want to respond, like when your mom tells u to do your homework just before you do it, then suddenly homework is the last thing you want to do

livvykitty oh just like, how often i should be expected to respond and the length requirements that they expect, kind of typical stuff you would list in your own ooc, but pretty pushy considering they responded to me? I guess?? i'm just being salty about it

That's rude if someone takes your prompt and tells you when you should respond and length. Your prompt, your house, your rules.
I do get asking about that sort of thing though- like 'hey do you know how often you'll be able to respond?' but if they flat out told you to respond that's rude af.

Don't stand for somebody treating you as if you owe them something simply because they sent off a response. In all seriousness, that is not how a kind, respectful, and understanding partner should act. My advice would be to dump them with your apologies (if applicable) and hunt for somebody better.
