anyone else at the end of their school year and wanna whine about it cause I SURE DO.
today is my last exam. at 7pm. on a saturday. its for philosophy, which is by far the most nonsense class i've had to take. i would recommend: never taking philosophy if you're just going into post-secondary.
so naturally i'm procrastinating on chplay like a i have for every exam i've taken. : )

Just dealing with the tedious nonsense that is my psychology class. That and child development being a boring frolick in the park.
Thank god this school year is almost done.

I have a teacher who is very 'read the book, write an essay' and nothing else.

My two favorite teachers are a notoriously difficult one and a super laid back one. They're married. I took two classes with the former and one with the latter which means that all the work for all my psych classes falls in the same weeks. This whole semester has been me having weeks of nothing and weeks where I'll have 2-3 test and 2+ projects due.
I have so many regrets.

astrivid it's really fine!!! One of the AP classes is the second theatre class, so there's gonna be a lot of practice fighting and stuff, so that kinda helps, haha. If anything, I'm just worried about Calculus. Trig has been a lot kinder to me than Algebra 2, but even then, math isn't my strong suit lol, but the teacher has this kinda dry sarcastic sense of humor and is pretty chill when it comes to turning in work late so I'm probably gonna be fine But what's university like for you guys? Is it anything like what I'm expecting this coming senior year, it's lots of calculus and reading guides and reading 50+ pages a night? Or is it more lax? EDIT: so I forgot that I also took AP art history so change 5 AP classes to 6, whoops

Hey, I'm not in college yet but will be taking a college Spanish class over the summer and 6 AP courses next year, so am I allowed to ask how much of a shit storm I've got coming my way at a university??? i'm actually a big fan of university over high school! I'm a double major (i might switch to a two degree string program so i can be an honors in one of my majors instead), and i was never an AP student in HS so I think you'll probably do fine in post-secondary if you're doing alright now. Though I guess it all depends on how you learn and everything, since i'm more of a learn-on-my-own and at-my-own-pace kind of student, uni suits my lifestyle really well and how i absorb information. I only ever went to 20% of my senior year in high school and I passed my exams with 90's b/c i just prefer to read and work on my own rather than in class (tho lemme teeelllll u my hw and attendance grades were noooooot great lmao...). i think for mostly visual learners though it might be challenging? the work load at my school is really really lax. I'll break it down Philosophy: 2 4-page papers, 1 (TAKE HOME!!) midterm, final exam Political Science: 1 10 page research paper, one midterm (all multiple choice), one final exam (all multiple choice) History of China: 1 6 page research paper, one midterm, one final exam Japanese: 2 presentations, 1 oral test, 1 reading test, 2 writing skills tests, 3 unit tests, 6 kanji quizzes, 6 vocab quizes, no midterm, no final exam Japanese was probably my toughest work load but even then on each quiz there was only ten or so questions and the presentations were only two minutes long so!!! not so bad imo! though everything is weighted pretty heavily so there's little room for error when there isn't much to be marked on. and the reading itself is very heavy, i had 5-7 chapters a week to read in poli-sci, and about 3 chapters a week in philo... but honestly i love it
