I CAN understand being busy and all but if I posted this prompt its to rp now, not god knows when what the fuck!!! Just drop me a word saying you want to do this later but!!! sometimes i do that when im at work tbh. like ill go to answer a prompt and be like "yo! can i save this for later?" and then i forget haha

thats happened to me before, ususally i get nervous and end up saying something like "look pal if you wanted to take my shit off the front page this was stupid, because i put it up again, and im really not fond of bein yanked around"

and then, almost 100% of the time, i get a nervous response thats something like "oh man i'm sorry! i am actually totally interested!!!"

and then there are some people that feel bad if the first thing they say isn't a Full Response i guess

I think a better way of bumping a chat that hasn't responded in a while is opening with something like, "Hi there, thanks for connecting! Is there anything I can do to help you out with your response or anything you'd like to go over before starting?" Usually that nets a response of some kind, whether it was a mistaken connection or somebody genuinely interested but busy.

and yeah no chair is absolutely right cordiality is probably where to take it when bumping a chat
getting mad or letting the other person know you're mad or anxious is popping the rp full of holes before it even starts

i was just giving my experience and, the follow up to my experience is that those rps with the Doubly Anxiety did not last long

OKAY, as someone who does mobile all the goddamn time, that might be what happened, but it would be polite of them to at least drop by and say "oh shit hi hello I can actually reply later but not now " so i don't know what the fuck they're doing if they're online
but I'm one of those people who also connects and never gets around to an ACTUAL reply, just makes reassurances ooc that I will, so I can't really salt it up in here.

News update! I ended up going to bed, because yeah, sleep, it's a necessity. And I literally slept for more than 12 hours but I come back to still nothing. Sooooooooooooo I think I'm just going to drop them (BOTH of them wtf!) a bitter message and disconnect.

usually when im on the prowl for a bunch of new prompts (but im answering chats at the same time), i usually go offline? because the thing about me is that im bad at multi-tasking??? so too many chats being active and its like "shit i cant handle"

but like, i try to get online to talk asap

I tend to poof right after a reply since I open all my unanswered in new tabs and close em as I finish. Rinse, repeat, cry...

I try to say "Hello!" or something when someone takes my prompt and doesn't say anything after a few moments. Just trying to be friendly.

What I hate is when people take prompts to get them off the front page. Why are you doing this friend? Why do you need to do this? Why do people do this? I genuinely used to think people were being irrational and quick to judge when they said 'Oh they just took my prompt to get it off of the page' but no this is a thing. Who in the world does this?

This always happens when I'm posting up a prompt or two while I'm asleep/working/generally not being online. Someone wants to take it off the front page and I can't do anything about it because I'm not existing at that moment.

Then there's people who leave the prompt when I don't respond for a while. My prompts always say [ONLINE] [ASLEEP] [AFK] or something like that so they know if I'll respond quickly or not. If I don't say anything I'm not trying to be rude! I need to sleep!
