mostly this is just a thread i wanted to make in honor of my brand new prompt i shat out fresh last night at the primetime hours of way too goddamn early in the morning. like sure it isnt top-quality writing but its STILL a prompt im looking to get out there and it seems like every force in the universe is turning against it so basically the idea of this thread is just going to be a generic pet peeves thing. just vent about rp experiences that seem WAY too common to be okay and lets marinate in our salt for a bit 1 - connection errors. okay so this isnt so much the sites fault or anyones fault except my goddamn university not fixing my internet but i have had to check on this thing like the baby in Who's Your Daddy to make sure it hasnt wandered off the front page and into the bowels of connection lost hell. and sometimes ill forget about it just to realize its been offline for HOURS without warning 2 - my own terrible ass timing. it seems like every time im watching any prompt like a hawk, it will be just fine. but the SECOND i decide to lay down to rest my eyes for 15 minutes or disappear to work on something else, it will be snatched on up by someone OR fall into connection hell again. these people have my schedule and are purposely trying to ruin me i swear 3 - impatient partners. ill just.... let my recent connect on this prompt be my example for this. even though it might out the shamefully self-indulgent prompt im on right now thats a full 2 minutes and 40 seconds of waiting, less time than it takes for my lazy ass to get out of the bathroom, let alone notice your response to my prompt NOR respond to it! thanks! 4 - disconnecting on someone and being too afraid to use the prompt anymore out of fear your wrathful former partner will confront you. this is the root of it all honestly i have so many prompts that have been sort of one-and-done because i stopped being into the rp i have on it but i dont want to repost the prompt and make the other person feel like im avoiding them when really its just that i stopped caring. SO whats been salting everyone elses stews lately? let it all out and lets have some salty fun, between salty pals.  |

I've totally given up on old partners connecting to bitch, like, if I ended the RP it's because I stopped being interested. Go ahead and take the prompt again and reply if you want, I don't care, but don't just take it to be mad!

I feel you so bad on 4. I've retired brand new prompts for months out of fear that someone I D/C'd on will come and screech at me. Like nooo. I don't like confrontation. That's why I D/C'd why would you do thissss ;3; Also I hate impatient partners. Like. Y'all ever heard of multitasking. I'm not going to fuckoff in the middle of a para and lose my place in a book because you can't wait a minute or two. Generally I feel like people who do that are saving me the effort.

Because I am combative and awful, I repost right away to see if they reconnect. Trade secret: If you do this, I want to roleplay with you even less. I will fight anybody who tries to make me feel bad for exercising my right to end a chat whenever I want for any reason, and if your partner ever does this to you, I WILL DEFEND YOUR HONOUR WITH EVERYTHING I HAVE.
