This has happened like ten times over the last month. People connect to my prompt, and without reading my OOC entirely, they do things like "hey, can I play karkat/sollux?" (on prompts where I say no beta trolls) or even better, my NAPs, where I say "I'm playing x character looking for y character" and someone connects.....only to ask....can they play x character that I'm already playing.... Most of my OOC is less than five lines as a rule. While my NAPs are longer, I clearly stated 'I'm playing x person." I don't understand why this is so hard to understand.  |

Tbh whenever that happens I correct them and d/c. If someone isn't going to read your NAP then how are you going to trust them to read your posts and understand what you're going for?
Mistakes happen, and I get it, but regardless it leaves a pretty bad first impression.
