Has this been whined about before

I post most of my prompts, even when they're completely SFW in content, in NSFW just in case the roleplay takes that kind of turn. So I will give them that.

HOWEVER

too often, in these completely sfw prompts that I post, I get people who right out the gate "wanna talk kinks? for nsfw purposes can we-" etc etc. I'm like bruh i'm here for the plot and the good character times my character isn't going to go from the mall to ur bed without knowing anything about y'all. Like stop letting this be the first thing you say in ooc regarding the plot pleasssseeeeeeeee. 

i had another prompt and someone connected like "oh yeah can you make this character super aggressive and domineering that'd be great". Like no!! this prompt had nothing to do with anything nsfw, and also, i'm not going to rp my muse the way you want me to please stop the thirst.

AH god yes! I had someone connect to a prompt, and I had an age modifier on it for if people wanted to take a nsfw direction but that I primarily wanted sfw. Fucking straight away I got a connector who opened with their age, and once I acknowledged and asked if they needed anything clarified came back with "Well I guess we should trade kinks and turn offs!" like, no??? We don't have to??? It's not really relevant at all?? What are you doing???

kinks is like the instant word to completely make me shut down on a reply so i can jive with this salt. it seems like every prompt ive posted in nsfw gets an instant 'lets talk kinks!' or worse 'f-list?' because UGH no please can you at least act like youre interested in the buildup and plot before trying to get in my characters pants?

plus ill add my own sorta related salt: the whole kinks thing makes me super uncomfortable as a whole? like i dont like how its constantly phrased as 'your' and 'my' kinks because im just here to write this stuff and if i include kinks theyre going to be the characters kinks not mine because any other phrasing makes it sound like people are trying to get off to our rp which is a huge no thanks from me please

I've had a few posts that explicitly say 'NSFW FOR CONTENT. NOT FOR SMUT. THIS WILL LIKELY BE A NO SEX RP' and I still get gross people jumping onto it and the first thing that spews out of them is 'kinks?'

Like once I had my fantasy Kanaya prompt up in NSFW (due to violence and heavy war and blood) with a clear NO SMUT slapped on it, and yet there was some guy who came in with Rose immediately asking for kinks and I was just??? Baffled??? My immediate response was "this won't have sex, I'm a minor" and they??? Gave a creepy response basically saying I write mature for my age and can handle it?

Like no buddy you're a fucking creep fuck off I just want my fantasy politics and shit stop being a goddamn horrible adult

I shouldn't even be allowed to whine about this but like I post smut-centric prompts and then I get upset when people only write like 1.9 paras of bland shit.

Like c'mon why does sex = low effort writing for so many people? Tell me about your character. Talk about the relationship they have with mine. This is a really fuckin' sensitive situation and there's sO MUCH YOU CAN DO WITH IT SO WHY WOULD THE ONLY COMMUNICATION ABOUT MAKING A COLLABORATIVE WORK OF FICTION BE "YO HERE'S A LITERAL PREPARED LIST OF WHAT GETS MY ROCKS OFF".

Anyway, one of my favourite roleplays ever was a BDSM type thing where it was interrupted halfway theough b/c Cronus has a Problem with saying No to things (because beggars can't be chosers etc.) and it turned into wonderfully delicious hurt/comfort and world/chararcer building. I think in general, people are just really bad at reading both the literal text and the subtext of a prompt.
