Okay, so here's the nitty gritty of it all- I'm gonna be setting up a paypal soon to be selling my writing, for Cherubplay prompts, short stories, and poetry.
I'm trying to raise money because there's a summer medical program at this really really really amazing college I want to go to, but it's like $5000 and we haven't gotten word on financial assistance even though I've apparently been accepted into the program, and I don't want my parents paying too much out of pocket
But how?? How do I advertise all this?? I don't have many followers on Tumblr, and my Ao3 account is pretty recent so it hasn't generated the fan count that my ffnet account has, so what are some ideas?
Like I've gotten the idea to write as many well written fanfics based on tropes as possible to flood my Ao3 account and bring people in, and then advertise in maybe the authors note or the summary but??? I don't know? Does anyone else know how exactly this commission stuff works? Thank you in advance for any help you can provide!
