do you ever write something and sit there and go, "god, i fucking wonder how i make this sound like it didnt go through a fucking wood chipper on the way out of my head" because i have that problem FREQUENTLY
a lot of the time i think in incomplete phrases or images and theyre great in my head but when i go to try to slot those things into something else or make it bigger or turn it into words it just looks like a puzzle where someone chewed up and spat out all the pieces and tried to fit them together and half of the pieces end up not even being from the puzzle that was supposed to be put together its such a fucking mess
and honestly to make matters worse it doesnt seem like e e cummings intentional, it just looks like im being pretentious, dont know how to write, or both and i love to suffer
