I'm still laughing that we actually have a forum for a homestuck rp site, especially since the source material just ended (ignoring the epilog and the video game and whatever 2.0 is gonna be). It's a nice sign that this fandom is detached enough to the comic that it seems it will live far, far longer than it (which is a relief considering I was late to the homestuck party, only getting around to reading it a year or so ago).  I'm also late to the reminiscing about the comic party, but just seeing how alive this place is kinda whacked me it the face.

On a different note, something else that makes me laugh is that the Rant and Salt board is by far the longest (at least from what ive seen), even though the tag is also a viable place for that. I dunno, it's just nice to see everyone getting together to complain. Heartwarming, even.

It's definitely nice to see a fandom coming together and continuing the legacy long after the source has finished. The fact that the Cherubplay community in particular congregates solely on negativity (and sharing those experiences in an effort to bring some good out of finding other people like you!) is part of what keeps me going, among other things.

Fun fact: this forum was literally just meant to be a salt dump originally. A better format for Discourse and Drama, as well as lamenting about silly disconnects etc

but then it was taken a little more seriously than that, so I actually put more than 30 seconds of effort into it and it turned out awesome so far

Homestuck is HUGE though. We have a game coming out, the epilogue is going to be a thing, and Homestuck 2.0? (God save us for Homestuck 2.0) So it's not dead.
