...I'm actually really tempted to try and get a group together where it's like, we put a noticeable hashtag on our prompts or something, like "#TransPositive", cultivate our own kind of group culture finding other trans rpers and creating a sort of signal to say "hey come over here, you can play trans in a friendly environment, do the thing"

About the Down With Cis prompt: I'm sorry I can't do it I can't take this seriously enough lmao. I don't know what to write and how to write it. Plus while pranking cherubplay with French prompt is all fun and games, the possibility of having transphobes jumping at my throat while screeching "CISPHOBIA" isn't one I'm entirely fond of. Though if someone else wants to try doing it, I heavily encourage them! If you think you can manage it, go right ahead!

God it's so gross that there are people who say this bullshit argument that f*ta isn't a slur because it comes from a different place. Here's a little fun fact:

In Japan, f*ta is essentially the slang equivalent of tr*nny.

Here's a little tip- even if something is in a different language, if it's used in the country that language is from as a fucking slur, then more likely than not its still transphobic as fuck for someone in our language!!!! Fuck man, this is disgusting

Again, just to clear it up, I definitely understand why other trans folks feel uncomfortable with futas (hell, I've the term blocked myself) but I wouldn't go as far as to say that it's inherently transphobic, because it's just so incredibly far removed from the reality of what being trans actually means. Again, unlike c*ntboys, which is intended to be read as more accurate to some sort of FtM experience.

Of course, it doesn't exist within a vacuum, and the fact that women with dicks are almost solely represented within pornography in highly unrealistic and inaccurate manners is absolutely a problem. But as long as people who do play futas 1) tag it so I can avoid it and 2) keep away from trying to pass their characters off as "trans" on my prompts, I don't really think it's an issue worth expending all that much time and energy on, especially not in the context of the movement. Again, people have been into the idea of having "both parts" since forever, and since porn is very, very male-gazey the most common form of this is women with dicks.


It's like cis guys calling themseves traps; calling a trans woman a trap or using that kinda terminology/language in reference to trans women is really fucking shitty, but a cis guy who's into fooling straight men? One could definitely argue that it's a problem because it reflects badly on trans women, but in a fantasy setting I don't really see it as an issue.
